I am pleased to welcome everyone to this site and especially to those who may be first-time visitors or unfamiliar with Guildry matters. You can read elsewhere about our heritage beginning in the 12th century through to the present, thus this site serves to inform, educate in relation to matters concerning the Burgesses of Guild of the City and Royal Burgh of Aberdeen.
Today, the Burgesses of Guild act collectively and individually as an ‘Orchestra of Burgesses’ acting as ambassadors for our City in line with our motto, ‘For Aberdeen’.
